Paris got a big win in London closing out round nine of 7days EuroCup

Paris Basketball (6-4) had no mercy for the London Lions (4-5) in Round 9 of the 7Days EuroCup. The team from France sealed the deal in the second quarter where they established a seven-point advantage after which London Lions had no answers in the second half 93-80.

Aamir Simms scored 15 points for Paris, while Sam Dekker led the way for London with 19 points, and Tomislav Zubcic added 17.

In one of the biggest games of the round, Turk Telekom (7-2) had one of its best performances of the season. They managed to beat Buducnost in Podgorica 84-71. After a good first quarter by Buducnost, it was all Turk Telekom till the end. Axel Bouteille played exceptionally scoring 26 points. Nate Sestina helped with 18. On the other side, Cameron Reynolds scored 17 points.

Gran Canaria (7-2) is keeping pace with Turk Telekom. The Spanish team got a “W” in Germany against Hamburg 83-76. Khalifa Diop led the way for Gran Canaria with 16 points and five rebounds.

The biggest upset was registered in France even if on paper, the winners should have done already much more. Cedevita Olimpija gets only its second win of the season defeating JL Bourg in a crazy fourth quarter with 57 points scored in total by both teams.

In the end, the Slovenian team prevailed 91-90. Yogi Ferrell hit the crucial free throws to secure the win for his team. Josh Adams scored 26 points for Cedevita, while Jordan Floyd led the way for Bourg with 22.

Joventut had no problems in Lituania. After a solid second half they got an important win (90-76) that kept the team from Badalona in the mix for the top spot of group A. Henry Ellenson scored 17 points, Joel Parra added 16, and Ante Tomic helped with 13 points, four rebounds, and four assists. Benas Griciunas, Kristian Kullamae, and Vytenis Lipkevicius all had 12 points for the home side.

In a close game, Ulm got a second straight win in group A. It came down to Spanish NBA prospect Juan Nunez who hit the game-winner in Romania against Cluj 84-81.

Robin Christen led the way with 26 points, and Karim Jallow added 21.

Ιν the bottom of Group B, Slask Wroclaw finally got its first win of the season after nine games. The Polish side won against Trento 80-57.  Jeremiah Martin scored 21 points for Slask.

One of the more interesting games was played in Italy where Prometey prevailed against Venezia 75-71. Both teams are now at 5-4. Ondrej Balvin scored 18 points for the greek side, while D. J. Kennedy added 15.
