Helping Promitheas Patras win 84-81 against Paris Basketball on the road, Anthony Cowan was named MVP of the 2023 7DAYS EuroCup Round 17.

The 25-year-old guard, who played with Aris Salonicco in the 2021-22 season, had 38 points (club record) with a 5/10 from two, 6/8 from beyond the arc, and 10/10 at the charity stripe (club record), with 6 assists in 29:19 minutes spent on the court, all for a 38 of PIR.

His scoring performance was the highest in the competition since Scottie Wilbekin’s 42 points for Darussafaka in Game 2 of the 2018 semifinals against FC Bayern Munich.

Anthony Cowan is averaging 12.4 points, 4.9 assists, and 1.7 rebounds, shooting 44.6% from two and 85.5% at the line. Promitheas Patras is currently 4th with an 11-6 record.
