It was a bit tougher than expected but Turk Telekom Ankara got the job done against Brescia in the Turkish capital to advance to the 7Days EuroCup quarterfinals. With a fourth-quarter push, the home side got the momentum it needed for a 77-69 win.

With the exception of one upset, home teams cooked through the first two nights of the 7DAYS EuroCup Eighthfinals, setting up three new matchups for fans to lick their chops about next week in the quarterfinals. A fourth quarterfinal pairing was resolved today as ratiopharm Ulm found out that Turk Telekom Ankara will be the opponent on Thursday in the Turkish capital.

Prometey Slobozhanske will host Promitheas Patras in Riga, Latvia. Hapoel Vegan-Friendly Tel Aviv will visit Joventut Badalona in a blockbuster. And Paris Basket, the only road winner, will visit top-seeded Gran Canaria.

The Italian team showed character tonight against Turk Telekom, having a two-point lead at half-time (38-36). But ultimately did not have enough firepower to stop the home side in the finale 10 minutes.

Axel Bouteille had 21 points for Turk Telekom, and Tyrique Jones added 14 for the home side. For the Italian team, CJ Massinburg scored 20 points.
