The defending EuroCup champions, Dreamland Gran Canaria, have reached an agreement with Nicolas Brussino, allowing the Argentinian player to remain with the club until 2024-25, with an option for another year.

After starting in his native Argentina, Brussino joined the NBA in 2016 with the Dallas Mavericks and later had a brief stint with the Atlanta Hawks before embarking on his successful career in Spanish basketball.

He has played for Gran Canaria, Iberostar Tenerife, and Casademont Zaragoza. Upon his return to Gran Canaria in 2021, Brussino was awarded the Pepe Moriana-Canarias7 Award for being the season’s best player.

Brussino played a key role in Gran Canaria’s victory in the EuroCup, averaging 9,4 points, 3,8 rebounds, and 2,2 assists while also showcasing impressive statistics in the ACB League.

He averaged 11.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, with a remarkable 45% three-point shooting accuracy in the Spanish championship. One of his notable performances included scoring 35 points and grabbing nine rebounds in a game against Unicaja.
