Rayjon Tucker signs with Umana Reyer Venezia

Umana Reyer announced the signing of Rayjon Tucker, a 191cm guard from Melbourne United.

He was born on September 24, 1997, in Charlotte, North Carolina (USA), where he grew up in basketball at the Northside Christian Academy. In college, he studied and played from 2015 to 2017 with the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles while in the 2018/19 season, he moved to Arkansas to represent the Little Rock Trojans (20 points and 7 rebounds per game).
In 2019 he played in the Summer League with the Milwaukee Bucks before wearing the Wisconsin Herd jersey in the G League with which he scored 24 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game attracting the attention of the Utah Jazz with whom he signed in December of the same year, making his NBA debut.

In November 2020 he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers while in January 2021 he moved to Philadelphia where he plays with the 76ers in the NBA and the Delaware Blue Coats in the G League.

In the 2021/22 season, Tucker returns to the Wisconsin Herd until April 2022 when he signs with the Milwaukee Bucks with whom he also plays the playoffs.
In the 2022/23 season, he wore the Melbourne United jersey in the Australian National Basketball League, finishing the season with 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game (55% from 2 and 38% from 3).
