A few days ago, Turk Telekom Ankara decided to part ways with the 47-year-old Serbian head coach Nenad Canak officially came back to Lietkabelis, where he previously coached from 2018 to 2023.

Leaving the Lithuanian club in the summer of 2023 to replace Erdem Can in Turkey, he finished his experience in Ankara earlier than expected following a 1-3 record to begin the BKT EuroCup season.

Lietkabelis, which is playing in the same Group (B) as last year’s EuroCup semifinalist, is also standing at a 1-3 record, losing at the final buzzer by the hands of Quinn Ellis against Dolomiti Energia Trentino with the Latvian Roberts Štelmahers on its bench.
