Facing his former team, Sylven Landesberg paved the way for Dreamland Gran Canaria in Round 6 of the BKT EuroCup Regular Season.

Overcoming a slow start, the Las Palmas outfit took down Turk Telekom, 82-69, in Ankara Spor Salonu on Wednesday.

Landesberg, 33, ended up with a game-high 20 points over 19 minutes. He made 7/12 from the field. John Shurna (left calf) did not make the trip to Turkiye. For the hosts, 26-year-old center Steven Enoch posted a 14-point, 11-rebound double-double.

The team coached by Jaka Lakovic jumped to 6-0 in Group B with the fifth straight win across all competitions, including two in Spain’s Liga Endesa. Extending yet another streak, it was the sixth win in as many EuroCup meetings with Turk Telekom, including last season’s championship game.

Paris wins battle of unbeaten teams in Group A

Besides Gran Canaria, Group A leader Paris made its way up to 6-0 by blowing out Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv, 114-87. The lead went into double-digits before the break and kept growing in the second half.

Running the point on the convincing showing, T.J. Shorts II posted a 15-point, 10-assist double-double. Collin Malcolm packing a game-high 23 points and Tyson Ward with 20 points kept the offense flowing for the team coached by Tuomas Iisalo.

Due to an injury to the groin area, J’Covan Brown checked in a hospital in London and was ruled out of the Round 6 contest. French forward Jaylen Hoard recorded a team-high 20 points for the visitors.
