Simon joins Paris after Sebastian Herrera’s injury

Paris Basketball has officially announced the signing of Justin Simon as a medical replacement for the injured Sebastian Herrera, who is sidelined due to a hand injury in the coming weeks.

Hailing from Bnei Herzliya in Israel, the 27-year-old is set to make his debut this Sunday against AS Monaco.

After going undrafted in 2019, Simon later joined the Windy City Bulls in the G-League. In 2019, he moved to the Illawarra Hawks in Australia.

Following this, he took on a new challenge with Ludwigsburg in Germany during the 2021-2022 season, impressing in the Basketball Champions League with notable averages of 15.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.9 steals, earning recognition in the competition’s defensive lineup.

After that, Simon went back to Australia, where he played for the Sydney Kings, becoming the NBL champion and winning the Defensive Player of the Year honors.

The 27-year-old then played briefly for Verona in LBA before joining Bnei Herzliya last summer.
