Kyle Alexander put on a show with 22 points and 13 rebounds, leading Hapoel Tel Aviv to the win against Wolves Vilnius in a delayed matchup from the second round of the BKT EuroCup regular season.

After this result, Hapoel has a solid 11-2 record, second best in Group A behind Paris (12-1), while the Lithuanians dropped to 4-9 and a tie with Umana Reyer Venezia between the 7th and the 8th spot. The 11 wins are enough mathematically for a spot in the playoffs.

John Holland and Tomer Ginat added 17 points each for the winning side, while the guests got 16 points from Rasheed Sulaimon

After a competitive first half which ended with Hapoel having a 47-44 lead, the hosts – playing once more in Belgrade – led by 10 at the end of the third period (70-60) and kept their distance until the end.

Things are going to be even more interesting next week with Hapoel hosting the London Lions who are third in the group standings with a 9-4 record.
