This season is extra challenging for the team from the beautiful city of Italy. Venezia doesn’t only wants to improve its position in the standings of Lega A, but also be as competitive as possible in Eurocup.
That is why Venezia decided to boost its frontline strength, particularly in offense with the addition of Boris Savovic. The Serbian/Montenegrin player arrives to the Italian team from Mega Leks with which he averaged 17/5 points and 6.5 rebounds in 22 minutes of playing time. Savovic can provide score for his new team, from either close, mid and sometimes long range since he has certain abilities of a stretch power forward/center. The last time he played in Eurocup, with Crvena Zvezda, the 28 year old player had 10 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
According to his new club, Savovic will arrive in Venice next Tuesday and he will be then presented to the media, after the necessary medical examinations.
