After bringing in huge additions like Johnathan Motley and Joe Ragland, among other assets, Hapoel Tel Aviv announced the arrival of Ish Wainwright to announce its candidacy for victory in the BKT EuroCup.

Attending Baylor University from 2013 to 2017, the 29-year-old big man got his first NBA experience with the Phoenix Suns in the 2021-22 season. He also stayed there the following year and last season, after playing between Portland and the Rip City Remix in 2022-23.

In his whole NBA career, he has been averaging 3.3 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.

Before moving to the NBA in 2021, he shone with the Nürnberg Falcons, Rasta Vechta, and SIG Strasbourg. In his last Basketball Champions League campaign, he put up 10.2 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

Ish Wainwright has been also representing Uganda on the International stage from the FIBA AfroBasket 2021 Qualifiers, where he almost had a double-double per game with 18.8 points and 9.3 rebounds. He played at FIBA AfroBasket 2021 and in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers.

Gran Canaria brings in Mike Tobey

Returning to Spain after a single season in Crvena Zvezda, Mike Tobey moved to the BKT EuroCup with Gran Canaria, the 4th Spanish side of his career after Tenerife, Valencia, and Barcelona.

The last time he played in the EuroCup with Valencia in the 2021-22 season, the now 29-year-old versatile center averaged 10.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
