Bahcesehir continues to be the team to beat in Group A of the BKT EuroCup.
Playing at home against Joventut Badalona, the players of coach Dejan Radonjic were more than impressive as Jaleen Smith once more with 17 points was the top scorer and Sehmus Hazer added 15.
Mateusz Ponitka with a full stat line (9 p. 3 r. 4 as. 2 st.) also was a key player for the win. Sam Dekker scored 22 points for the losing side, Ante Tomic had 18 but Bacesehir led from wire to wire and never trailed in the game.
Also in Group A, Ulm beat on the road Hapoel Tel Aviv in the first game with coach Dimitris Itoudis on the bench (82-80). With the game on the line, Hapoel failed to score in the last two minutes.
Marcus Foster had 21 points and Pat Beverley 15 for the losing side, while Noa Essengue with 19 stole the show from Ulm.
In Group B, Valencia remains perfect after scoring 107 points on the road against Bourg. Matt Costello with 23 points led the charge for the winning side.
On a hard-fought game Venice also scored 100, but in overtime and prevailed over Liektabelis (100-93) with Mfiondu Kabengele having a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds.
