Another scoring weapon in the team’s backcourt arsenal

According Eurohoops sources, Galatasaray has decided to add American guard Curtis Jerrells to its roster. Jerrells had a contract with Russian team Unics Kazan, yet a deal has been made between the two clubs and now the player will probably continue his career in Istanbul.

Jerrells has been recovering from an injury in his Achilles’ tendon since May. One that kept him out of action for months, after his surgery. That is why the Turkish club puts a great deal of emphasis on the medical test. If Jerrells passes them with success and signs the contract, it will be quite interesting to see how will he be used in a team where scoring already comes in abundance.

UPDATE: On Monday (26/1) Galatasaray confirmed the addition of Jerrels to the roster, just in time for the second round of Eurocup’s Last32.
