According to, Cedric Simmons has agreed to sign a short term contract with Maccabi. The American center is trying to get over the serious injury that has been troubling in him for the last year.

Experienced by playing in Euroleague, during the 2013/2014 season with Olympiacos, Simmons will now strengthen the Israelis’ backcourt. Maccabi was looking for a center with his style and body and his contract will have a 2 weeks span. He will replace Arinze Onuaku in the team’s roster.

UPDATE: Maccabi officially announced the addition of the player. He will be tested for 2 weeks.
