Two down, two more to go. After U-BT Cluj-Napoca advanced to the BKT EuroCup quarterfinals, Turk Telekom Ankara also made that step.

Erdem Can’s side had a great game at home, defeating Buducnost Voli with a convincing 93-73 final score. They will face Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv in the next round.

The hosts dominated pretty much from the get-go, winning the first quarter 26-11 and holding a solid 48-36 lead at halftime. Buducnost cut the deficit to 52-46 and held their ground until the final period, but then Turk Telekom went on a 15-4 run to put the game to bed.

Anthony Brown led the winning side with 20 points, while Kyle Alexander added 17 points and six rebounds, shooting a perfect 8-8 from the field. Former Buducnost center Yoan Makoundou followed with 16 points, Javon Bess contributed 13, and Brian Angola had 11, as Turk Telekom cruised past the Montenegrin team into the next round.

The side from Podgorica finished their 2024/25 BKT EuroCup season in the eighth-finals. Fletcher Magee signed off with 16 points, while Kenan Kamenjaš had 12 points and seven rebounds, and McKinley Wright contributed 11 points, seven boards, and six assists.
