Despite Chris Jones’ absence due to a left knee injury, Valencia went only a few minutes away from playing in another BKT EuroCup Finals.
Brancou Badio (20 points) and Jean Montero (17 points and 7 assists) did their best to prevent Pedro Martinez’s team from being defeated in the competition’s Game 3 of the Semi-Finals.
“It was a tight game, we played with a good mentality. They scored some easy baskets, but our mentality was good. This is sports, this is life,” Pedro Martinez shared after the loss.
In the other Game 3 of the day, Gran Canaria was led by Caleb Homesley in beating Bahcesehir on the road. Jaka Lakovic’s team already won the 2022-23 edition of the BKT EuroCup.
