With a clutch two-point pull-up dagger in the final seconds of Game 3 in the BKT EuroCup Semi-Finals, Marcus Foster dragged Hapoel Tel Aviv to the 94-92 road victory.

Thanks to this victory, the red-and-white Israeli side will reach Gran Canaria in the EuroCup Finals. It will be their first-ever appearance at such a stage in the European competition,

Antonio Blakeney led the whole team in scoring with 32 points and 9 rebounds, shooting 6/13 from beyond the arc; the former Rytas Vilnius player, instead, added 22 points over 7/9 from two.

“The value of the opponents shows how important this victory was, and the qualification for the Finals. We knew what we were gonna face,” Dimitris Itoudis commented in the post-game.

Despite Chris Jones’ absence due to a left knee injury, Valencia went only a few minutes away from playing in another BKT EuroCup Finals.

Brancou Badio (20 points) and Jean Montero (17 points and 7 assists) did their best to prevent Pedro Martinez’s team from being defeated in the competition’s Game 3 of the Semi-Finals.

“It was a tight game, we played with a good mentality. They scored some easy baskets, but our mentality was good. This is sports, this is life,” Pedro Martinez shared after the loss.

In the other Game 3 of the day, Gran Canaria was led by Caleb Homesley in beating Bahcesehir on the road. Jaka Lakovic’s team already won the 2022-23 edition of the BKT EuroCup.
