Canadian-Greek guard signs through 2027

Aris have announced the signing of Elijah Mitrou-Long on a contract until 2027. The 29-year-old Canadian-Greek guard returns to Thessaloniki, having previously played for the club in the 2022-23 season.

His professional career started in 2020-21 with PAOK. The following season, he played in Bulgaria for Levski Sofia before joining Apollon Patras, where he averaged 10.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3 assists with 40% shooting from three-point range.

Mitrou-Long’s first stint with Aris in 2022-23 saw him average 10.05 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in 24 minutes per game. He then joined Peristeri in 2023-24, producing 10.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.

Last season, he split his time between Hapoel Holon, where he averaged 12.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 4 assists, and Italian side Varese, contributing 12.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game.

Aris recently also acquired Steven Enoch.
