A few hours after the season ended for Aris, it was announced that Elijah Mitrou-Long’s contract has been extended until 2028.

The 29-year-old international guard of the “yellows” had a very good season, with 26 games in the Stoiximan GBL, averaging 13 points (65.7% free throws, 40.8% two-pointers, 39.9% three-pointers), 3.1 rebounds (2.6 defensive – 0.5 offensive), 4 assists, and 1.4 steals in 27.3 minutes per game.

Similarly, in 18 EuroCup games, Mitrou-Long averaged 11 points (77.1% free throws, 47.8% two-pointers, 30.9% three-pointers), 2.8 rebounds (2.2 defensive – 0.6 offensive), 3.4 assists, and 1.1 steals in 25.1 minutes of participation per game.

The announcement from Aris

“KAE ARIS announces the extension of its cooperation with Elijah Mitrou-Long until 2028.

The Greek-Canadian guard already has a contract with our team for the next season (2026-27), which has been extended for one more year, with the simultaneous removal of the EuroLeague out clause for 2026.

Elijah Mitrou-Long played for ARIS for the first time in the 2022-23 season and in the summer of 2025 he returned to ‘Nick Galis Hall’, being one of the most pivotal players of the past season.”
