With the 2026-27 BKT EuroCup regular-season groups now confirmed, clubs across the competition continue to strengthen their squads through a series of new signings and contract extensions.
EuroCup newcomer Baglietto Derthona Tortona added valuable experience by signing Karim Jallow on a one-year deal.
The German forward arrives from Virtus Bologna after making his EuroLeague debut last season and brings plenty of EuroCup experience, having appeared in 73 games while averaging 9.0 points and 3.0 rebounds throughout his career.
Le Mans Sarthe Basket bolstered its frontcourt with the addition of Melvin Ajinca, who joins from ASVEL after averaging 6.0 points in the EuroLeague and 7.5 points in the French League last season.
Another forward on the move is Justin Smith, who left Hapoel Jerusalem to join Budućnost VOLI Podgorica. Smith was one of Jerusalem’s key contributors over the past two seasons, averaging 11.6 points and 4.0 rebounds in the EuroCup while also producing 14.1 points and 5.5 rebounds in the Israeli League.
Turk Telekom Ankara made two important roster moves, first keeping center Kris Bankston, who averaged 8.2 points and 4.6 rebounds while helping the club reach the EuroCup semifinals last season. The Turkish side also added proven scorer Jerrick Harding, who arrives after leading Rytas Vilnius to the Basketball Champions League title while finishing as the competition’s top scorer with 19.4 points per game.
Napoli Basketball strengthened its roster with Australian forward Jack White, an NBA champion with the Denver Nuggets in 2023. White joins from Mersin after averaging 10.0 points and 5.1 rebounds in the Turkish League, along with 11.1 points and 6.3 rebounds in the Basketball Champions League.
Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana found its new floor general by signing Anthony Cowan. The experienced point guard returns to the EuroCup after an excellent season with Mersin, where he averaged 14.9 points and 6.8 assists in the Turkish League. During his previous EuroCup campaign with Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius, he posted 16.3 points and 6.0 assists per game.
Spanish side Kids&Us Manresa reinforced its frontcourt with Canadian center Nick Ongenda, who spent last season in Israel, while London Lions added scoring guard Landrius Horton, the second-leading scorer in the Polish League last season after averaging 18.3 points per game with Dziki Warszawa. Horton is set to make his EuroCup debut in the upcoming campaign.
