The BKT EuroCup scene is undergoing significant activity as clubs finalize their lineups for the upcoming 2026–27 season, highlighted by high-profile signings and emotional homecomings across the continent. Headlining this recent wave of player movement is former Saint Joseph standout Charlie Brown Jr., who is set to make his European debut after agreeing to terms with Dolomiti Energia Trento. The Philadelphia native, who went undrafted in 2019 and previously appeared in 49 NBA games, heads to Italy fresh off capturing a Baloncesto Superior Nacional championship and Finals Most Valuable Player honors in Puerto Rico with Gigantes.
Meanwhile, roster continuity remains the priority for fellow Italian side Umana Reyer Venice, as team captain Amedeo Tessitori officially signed on for a fifth consecutive campaign. The 31-year-old center and past EuroCup champion with Virtus Segafredo Bologna has already compiled over two hundred appearances for Venice, bringing critical experience back to their frontcourt.
In France, Le Mans completed the squad for the next season by securing a deal with 27-year-old American combo forward Moses Wood. Arriving from ALBA Berlin, Wood shares a unique connection to his new domestic league, having been born in France during his father’s previous playing stint with Limoges CSP.
Finally, Lithuanian club Lietkabelis reinforced its rotation by striking deals with two familiar faces returning to Panevezys. Guard Marius Valinskas rejoined his original professional club on a single-season contract following a two-year stint with Siauliai. He is accompanied by 31-year-old local native Zygimantas Simonis, who locked in a separate agreement to wear the team jersey through the conclusion of the competitive calendar.
