The latest series of roster movements across the BKT EuroCup features teams solidifying their lineups with key international additions ahead of the 2026–27 season.
Highlighting the recent transfer activity, Lithuanian swingman Karolis Lukosiunas officially reunited with Siauliai, returning to his former club seven summers after his initial departure. The 26-year-old Vilnius native brings a wealth of high-level continental experience to the squad, having spent the previous season making his EuroCup debut with the London Lions. During his tenure in England, the 1.95-meter guard-forward proved to be a reliable fixture in the rotation, averaging 6.0 points across 17 appearances, which complements a substantial 65-game stint in the premier Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with powerhouse Zalgiris.
Later Tuesday evening, the Frankfurt-based Skyliners injected marquee North American talent into their backcourt by securing 27-year-old Marcus Garrett on a one-year contract. Hailing from Dallas, the defensive stalwart travels overseas for his very first professional campaign outside his home continent. Garrett arrives in Germany fresh off an impressive championship run in the NBA G League with the Greensboro Swarm, adding to an impressive pedigree that includes winning the prestigious Naismith Defensive Player of the Year award with Kansas back in 2020.
Further reinforcing the influx of fresh faces, 24-year-old Latvian point guard Toms Skuja inked a new agreement to rejoin Rigas Zelli. After spending a year developing his skills in Germany, Skuja goes back to familiar territory where he is now poised to showcase his playmaker abilities on a much grander stage during his highly anticipated career bow in the second tier of Euroleague Basketball.
Rounding out the mid-week transactions, youth development bore fruit as 24-year-old Jordan Gainey took a significant step forward by signing a two-year contract to join the senior roster at Cedevita Olimpija on Wednesday, elevating his status following a productive stretch with Cedevita Junior.
