Hapoel Jerusalem have officially announced the signing of Kenneth Lofton Jr. on a one-year contract through the end of the 2026-27 season.

The 23-year-old frontcourt player arrives after stints with the Memphis Grizzlies, Philadelphia 76ers, and Utah Jazz, making 49 NBA appearances.

He also won the 2022-23 G League Rookie of the Year award before moving to the Shanghai Sharks, where he was named CBA MVP in his first season and helped the club win the Chinese league title last campaign.

“I‘m excited to join Hapoel Jerusalem and begin my journey in European basketball,” Lofton said. “From the very first moment, I was impressed by the club’s ambitions. I can’t wait to meet the fans and fight for this club in every game.”

Head coach Saša Obradović welcomed the signing, describing Lofton as a player who will bring “a rare combination of strength, talent and versatility” to Hapoel’s frontcourt.

Burgos signs Jamaican guard Chase Audige

BKT EuroCup newcomers San Pablo Burgos have signed Jamaican guard Chase Audige to a one-year deal. The 27-year-old joins from Unicaja Malaga, where he averaged 5.7 points in the Spanish League and 5.8 points in the Basketball Champions League last season after beginning the campaign with Bosna Meridianbet Sarajevo.

Audige, the 2023 Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Year, previously helped Filou Oostende win the Belgian double and led the 2024-25 BCL in steals (2.2 per game). The Jamaican international is now set to make his EuroCup debut with Burgos.
