The BKT EuroCup market is buzzing with activity as teams finalize their rosters ahead of the upcoming 2026–27 campaign, highlighted by exciting new talents and key contract extensions.
Headlining the recent wave of transactions, Slask Wroclaw secured the services of versatile American big Matt Rogers on a one-year agreement running through next season. The 24-year-old forward-center is embarking on his first European adventure following a standout five-year collegiate stint at American University and a recent appearance with the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA Summer League, where he shot an impressive 50% from beyond the arc.
Also on Tuesday, Balkan Botevgrad announced a contract renewal with veteran 33-year-old forward Dimitar Dimitrov. Over the last week, roster continuity remained a vital focal point for several clubs looking to build on past success. Buducnost VOLI retained 29-year-old forward Juwan Morgan, and U-BT Cluj-Napoca locked down 36-year-old veteran guard Patrick Richard. Meanwhile, Turk Telekom opted for youth by keeping 25-year-old swingman Uros Trifunovic, while Neptunas re-signed Donatas Tarolis.
Fresh faces are also arriving to reinforce competitive rotations. Former Texas and Utah standout Timmy Allen inked a one-year deal with Kids&Us Manresa, and Ruben Guerrero joined Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos. Burgos also signed promising 23-year-old power forward Inaki Ordonez to a multi-year pact, though he will spend the upcoming cycle on loan with second-division side Hestia Menorca to gain valuable playing time. Finally, Rigas Zelli bolstered its squad by acquiring Tomas Talcis on a season-long loan from EuroLeague’s Valencia.
