The BKT EuroCup campaign for the 2026–27 season is generating immense excitement as participating clubs aggressively solidify their rosters.
In a Sunday announcement, Buducnost VOLI secured a two-year deal with 27-year-old Serbian power forward Stefan Djordjevic. A youth product of Crvena Zvezda, Djordjevic brings a wealth of regional and international experience, entering his second consecutive term in Euroleague Basketball’s second-tier tournament.
During a strong 2025–26 run with Slask Wroclaw, he averaged 12.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game over 14 EuroCup appearances, including nine starts. Domestically, he tallied 11.9 points per contest in Poland’s Orlen Basket Liga. He previously also played in the AdmiralBet ABA League with FMP and Igokea m:tel, besides his parent club.

Under the leadership of Slovenian head coach Andrej Zakelj, Buducnost is building a formidable unit for its Group C schedule. The Podgorica outfit has recently integrated fresh talent including Marial Shayok, Justin Smith, Emir Hadzibegovic, and Iverson Molinar, while retaining core veterans Juwan Morgan, Yogi Ferrell, Axel Bouteille, Jerry Boutsiele, and Fletcher Magee.

Group A’s Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos made a move on Saturday by inking 25-year-old Raul Lobaco. The newcomer is set to make his debut in European club competitions, joining an ambitious project orchestrated by head coach Porfi Fisac.
Burgos has assembled a deep, versatile lineup to navigate the demanding continental landscape and Spain’s Liga Endesa, flanking Lobaco with DJ Steward, Ziga Samar, Chase Audige, Retin Obasohan, Dusan Radosavljevic, Pablo Almazan, Vlatko Cancar, Christian Sengfelder, Dani Diez, Balsa Koprivica, and Ruben Guerrero.
