The 2026–27 BKT EuroCup season is rapidly approaching, and with training camps already underway across the continent, several clubs have secured critical late roster additions to finalize their rotations.
Headlining this recent wave of acquisitions is veteran playmaker Ryan Arcidiacono, who inked a one-year contract with the Skyliners. The 32-year-old former NCAA champion with Villanova brings 257 games of NBA experience across the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, and Portland Trail Blazers to Frankfurt. Having debuted in European club competitions last season with Trapani Shark in the Basketball Champions League, Arcidiacono replaces the departing Marcus Garrett in the Group B outfit, joining a squad that features Judah Mintz, Nahiem Alleyne, Will Christmas, Thomas Klepeisz, and Race Thompson.
Also on Tuesday, Neptunas bolstered its Group C campaign by announcing a one-season deal with 26-year-old Estonian forward Henri Drell. The former Bulls player arrives with BCL experience from stints with Asisa Joventut and La Laguna Tenerife. He joins a deep Klaipeda outfit coached by Gediminas Petrauskas, which already boasts Kristupas Lesciauskas, Mindaugas Girdziunas, Arnas Berucka, Donatas Tarolis, Lukas Kreismontas, Kristupas Zemaitis, Ray Somerville, Elvar Fridriksson, Yannick Franke, Einaras Tubutis, and Martynas Echodas.
Roster building continued for newly established Maxima Roma in Group B, as the Italian capital organization locked in Mirza Alibegovic on a two-year agreement. Coached by Matteo Cotelli, the 33-year-old guard joins a formidable core alongside Brynton Lemar, Matt Ryan, Xavier Moon, Miro Bilan, and Carl Wheatle.
Over in Group D, Balkan Botevgrad continued its aggressive talent assembly by signing Ivan Spirov. The 22-year-old forward-center links up with coach Bogdan Karaicic’s unit, which includes Ulrich Chomche, Darnell Edge, Aleksandar Stoimenov, David Okwera, Ivan Alipiev, Nikolay Grozev, Dimitar Dimitrov, Pavlin Ivanov, and Alex Ducas.
Finally, Group A’s Bertram Derthona Tortona added veteran depth by securing 35-year-old Estonian Siim-Sander Vene for the preseason.
