The BKT EuroCup rosters for the 2026–27 Regular Season continue to take shape following a series of key signings on Thursday.
Kids&Us Manresa solidified their squad for Group D by picking up 27-year-old American point guard JD Notae. After a brief offseason stint with Trabzonspor ended following medical examinations, the playmaker is set for his debut in Euroleague Basketball’s second tier. He brings prior experience in the Basketball Champions League and the FIBA Europe Cup to a deep roster led by head coach Diego Ocampo. Notae will link up with Chibuzo Agbo, Timmy Allen, Ferran Bassas, Lucas Beaufort, Hugo Benitez, Lukasz Kolenda, Yordan Minchev, Nick Ongenda, Pierre Oriola, Pablo Tamba, Eric Vila, and Rafa Villar.
Meanwhile, Slask Wroclaw bolstered their backcourt for their upcoming Group C campaign by acquiring experienced guard Anthony Hickey. The 33-year-old American playmaker inked a one-year contract, marking his first career appearance in the EuroCup. Working under tactical leader Danny Franco, Hickey provides veteran leadership to a tentative Polish lineup that already boasts Blazej Czerniewicz, Blazej Kulikowski, Kyrell Luc, Jakub Niziol, Matt Rogers, Malik Parsons, Tymoteusz Sternicki, and Anthony Wrzeszcz.
Bulgarian champions Balkan Botevgrad made waves in Group D by welcoming Gael Bonilla. The 23-year-old Mexican forward, who developed his skills within the prestigious FC Barcelona youth academy, will now play under Bogdan Karaicic alongside Ivan Alipiev, Ulrich Chomche, Dimitar Dimitrov, Alex Ducas, Darnell Edge, Nikolay Grozev, Pavlin Ivanov, Javante McCoy, David Okwera, Ivan Spirov, and Aleksandar Stoimenov.
Fellow Group D outfit, ratiopharm Ulm, added Lucas Fischer, as announced by the 22-year-old guard’s previous team, Nanterre 92. Fischer joins the German team coached by Ty Harrelson, which already features Adam Atamna, Mohamed Diakite, Nil Failenschmid-Clavera, Meissa Faye, Dwayne Koroma, Teo Milicic, Namori Omog, Michael Rataj, Devin Schmidt, Simisola Shittu, Jaylen Sims, Armel Traore, and Ibi Watson.
