Bosna BH Telecom is aggressively rebuilding its roster following its recent addition to the 2026–27 BKT EuroCup field, securing high-profile talent to compete at the second tier of Euroleague Basketball. In the most recent move announced on Wednesday, the club confirmed a deal with Puerto Rican national team member Gary Browne to improve their backcourt. The veteran 1.85-meter point guard brings valuable league experience to Sarajevo, having logged 31 career appearances during previous stints with Dolomiti Energia Trento and Darussafaka Tekfen between 2020 and 2022.
Browne joins a deep, thoroughly revamped squad working under the guidance of head coach Dario Gjergja. He aligns with Edin Atic, James Banks III, Dontay Caruthers, Marcus Domask, DeAndre Gholston, Ryan Hawkins, Alija Islamovic, Miljan Kljestan, Daut Livadic, Lautaro Tomas Lopez, Adin Mandzukic, Reggie Perry, Alfonso Plummer, P.J. Pipes, Nikola Popovic, Doko Salic, Darko Talic, and Adin Vrabac. This heavy recruitment comes as Bosna prepares for intensive Group D action in the Regular Season, which will officially tip off on September 30 when they visit Lietkabelis at Kalnapilio Arena.
Meanwhile, developmental strategies are shifting in Israel as young American guard Amari Bailey locked in a multi-year contract with Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem. Instead of immediately joining the championship contenders in EuroCup’s Group A, the 21-year-old UCLA alum will spend the upcoming campaign on loan playing in Israel’s domestic Winner League for Hapoel Altshuler Shaham Beer Sheva/Dimona. Selected as the 41st overall draft pick in 2023 before logging ten appearances in the NBA with the Charlotte Hornets, the versatile 1.95-meter guard looks to maximize his immediate floor time overseas. He was officially welcomed by Beer Sheva on Monday.
