EuroCup roundup: Luka Doncic watches Bahcesehir beat Roma

BC Roma opened its first-ever EuroCup campaign with a 91-78 loss to Bahçeşehir Koleji in Istanbul, with Luka Doncic following the historic occasion and sharing moments from the game on his Instagram Story.

Doncic, who joined Roma’s ownership group in 2025, is one of the key investors in the Italian club’s project. Roma began its European campaign against Bahçeşehir, which took control of the game to secure the victory.

Marcquise Reed led Bahçeşehir with 15 points, followed by Malachi Flynn with 14, Aleksa Avramovic with 13 and Tyler Cavanaugh with 11. Trevion Williams added nine points, nine rebounds and seven assists. Nico Mannion led Roma with 29 points, while Gerald Ayayi scored 16 and Marko Simonovic 13.
