Italy’s BC Roma, co-founded by Donnie Nelson and Luka Doncic, has hired longtime Mavericks executive George Killebrew as president of global business operations, as it was mentioned in a statement by this club.
Killebrew spent nearly three decades with Dallas and most recently served as Pickleball Inc. Chief Revenue Officer.
Regarding Killebrew’s signing, Roma issued a statement, and a statement was also made by Donnie Nelson, Managing Partner and GM.
“George’s experience and deep knowledge of the sports industry make him the perfect person to lead BC Roma’s global bussiness operations. We are committed to putting a team on the floor that competes at the highest level, plays with passion, and makes every Roman proud.
We want this club to be an extension of this city’s fans and its great basketball history, and George will help us build an organization worthy of both.”
