Bandja Sy has joined Lietkabelis on a three-month contract after his short-term deal with Partizan expired. The Lithuanian club confirmed the signing of the 36-year-old French forward to reinforce its injury-hit frontcourt.
Sy returned to Partizan in late September, having previously played for the club during the 2018–19 season. He made eight appearances across all competitions during his second spell, including five in the EuroLeague, before his contract expired on October 28.
His most productive EuroLeague outing came against Bayern Munich, when he recorded five points in just under 11 minutes. He also scored 15 points in Partizan’s ABA League victory over Vienna.
Before returning to Belgrade, Sy played for Romanian club CSM Oradea, averaging 8.4 points and 3.4 rebounds in domestic competition last season. He previously spent two seasons with Paris Basketball, helping the team win the 2024 EuroCup title before making 35 EuroLeague appearances the following season.
