Strasbourg has won the first leg of the Eurocup finals by four points. However, now they have to win again, or at least lose by less than three points in Istanbul in order to win the trophy and a place in Euroleague.

And this is not going to be easy. As coach Vincent Collet admitted to Eurohoops.net when he was asked if the win in the first game can be enough: “No! Galatasaray are still the favorites and in the driver’s seat. After all, we couldn’t keep our 8 points lead in the end and even that wouldn’t be enough for me to make such a statement”.

So what his team should do in order to win the title? “Defense will be our priority again and we will make some adjustments from the Game 1”.

And that should be done in more than hot gym: “I know all about Galatasaray fans and they can affect the game in many ways. However, the game will be played on the court. We know that Galatasaray has better offensive talent than us, so we have to defend them better as well.”

American guard Mardy Collins added: “I feel no pressure but we know that the atmosphere tomorrow in the gym will be great. We know that they will make the shots that they missed in the Game 1 so we need to be even better on defense. We have a chance for the title”
