The first game of the season for Eurocup was decided on the buzzer. In Group A Lietkabelis beat MZT Skopje thanks to a buzzer beating lay up by Donatas Tarolis (90-89).
Despite a comfortable 85-78 lead in the closing minutes, thanks to a 11-3 run the guests got the lead, but in the end Tarolis decided the outcome. With seconds left, the hosts had the ball, Lorenzo Williams (11 p., 6 as.)missed a three, but Tarolis got the offensive rebound and made the shot at the buzzer for a total of 17 points and 7 rebounds.
Ksistof Lavrinovic had 18 points for the winners, while Stefan Sinovec with 20 points led the scoring of MZT.
