Gran Canaria at the start of the last quarter was leading by 12 points (79-67) but in the end Cedevita defended its home court and got a crucial 97-90 win for Eurocup’s group A.

Marko Tomas with 22 points, Rashad James with 19 and center Miro Bilan with 16 were the leaders of the winners. For the Spaniards who trailed by one point (88-87) with 1,5 minute left, Eulis Baez and Darko Planinic were missing, while Kyle Kuric (!3 p.) and Richard Hendrix (8 p.) were coming from injuries.

Sasu Salin with 15 points led a team effort, but the guests could not close the game the right way. Despite the defeat however, Gran Canaria after the sixth round of the regular season sealed its ticket to Top16. The final point difference was decided by a three pointer of Luka Babic who scored in total 15 points for Cedevita.
