Miro Bilan dropped 20 points and 4 dimes while Rashad James added 19 points as Cedevita grabbed its first EuroCup Top 16 victory by beating Alba Berlin 99 – 83 at home. The two teams are now tied with 1 – 3 at the last place of the Group H standings.

Cedevita got things covered in the first half, particularly after an explosive 27 – 17 start at the first quarter. The Croatians, who also had Luka Babic at a great creative night with 9 assists to go with 13 points, expanded their lead to 50 – 34 at the break, holding a solid advantage.

Although Alba Berlin greatly improved its offensive game at the second half, the hosts remained hot enough to preserve a safe lead and never feel threatened.

Elmedin Kikanovic had 18 points and Peyton Siva 13 plus 5 assists for the “Albatrosses”.
