With Tarence Kinsey (18 p.) and Curtis Jerrels (17 p.) leading the way, Hapoel got the 79-66 win, tied the series at 1-1 and everything will be decided next week at Valencia and Game 3. The captain of the Spaniards, Rafa Martinez, had 22 points but the absence of injured point guards Antoine Diot and Guillem Vives was obvious in crunch time.

After an impressive 24-14 first quarter start for Hapoel Jerusalem, Valencia got back into the game, trailed by four at half time (41-37) and thanks to Martinez led by four (57-53) at the end of the third period.

With the two teams trading big buckets, Jerrels made the score 65-63 with a three, giving back to Hapoel the lead with less than 7 minutes left. Still the biggest shot of the game belonged to Kinsey who made the score 70-65 two minutes later with an other three.

This was the shot that made things easy for Hapoel in the remaining time, as the hosts entered the last two minutes with an 10 points advantage (76-66) and Jerrels finished the game with a three (79-66).
