The 28 years old player who comes from Ulm signed a two year deal until the summer of 2019. He has also played in the second German division with Nuremberg (2014-2015) and then with Giessen.

Averaging 5.4 assists per game, he was the third-best passer of league in the past season and he also scored an average of 7.1 points.”I am very happy to play for Bayern in the future, for one of the two top clubs in the league,” said Hobbs. “I’ve heard a lot of good things about the coach and a very professionally run club. Our goal will be to get the championship title. I have the impression and hope that this year a real team will be created. I would like to be a leader again, a coach on the court”.

The club also extended young swingman Karim Jallow for three more years, until the end of the 2019-20 season. Jallow (1.98 meters, 20 years old) is a homegrown talent who grew up in the city of Munich and has been with Bayern for more than 10 years, playing for the club’s all youth categories. Jallow made his professional debut in 2015-16 season, and that’s the season when he made his only 7DAYS EuroCup appearance to date. Last season, Jallow played in seven German League games and in limited action posted 2.7 points per game, while playing for Bayern’s second team in the German second division, Jallow averaged 15.3 points per game.
