The man behind the acclaimed transfers Brose Bamberg has completed these last three seasons, takes his talents to Bayern Munich.
Bayern officially announced that Daniele Baiesi is the club’s new Sports Director, same position he had with Bamberg for three years.
With Baiesi coordinating some of the most successful “value for money” acquisitions not only in Germany, but Europe, Brose Bamberg won the 2015, 2016 and 2017 German league titles plus the 2017 Cup trophy while presenting a competitive and attractive outfit in EuroLeague.
“I immediately contacted him when it became clear that he wouldn’t extend his contract,” said Bayern Munich GM Marko Pesic. “I have known him for many years. He’s extremely well-connected, network-wise, experienced and knowledgeable.”
