The 27-year-old player of Lokomotiv intends to continue his career in a new destination and he has already bought out his contract.
It remains to be seen where he will play next year and despite a report by Izvestia that mentions the US as his preferred destination, the truth is – according to sources close to the player – that it’s more than possible for him to remain in Europe. It’s not usual but Jones left a guaranteed deal in order to pursue other opportunities and Europe is one of his priorities.
Jones first joined Lokomotiv during the 2016/17 season and averaged 11.9 points and 5.8 rebounds in 16 EuroCup games last season.
