In the 13th Alphonso Ford Memorial Game on Tuesday evening, Ford’s former team VL Pesaro defeated 7DAYS EuroCup squad Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia 74-63.

It was a night full of special emotions which could have been felt before, during and after the game, and the home team that the late, great scorer played for in his final season, had a great start of the fourth quarter when it turned a tied game into a 10-point margin. When Reggio Emilia rallied back, Dallas Moore sealed the deal with 5 points down the stretch, and with 21 points led Pesaro to victory. As game’s MVP, Moore was awarded a specially commissioned replica of the Alphonso Ford Top Scorer Trophy by EuroLeague Basketball representative and 7DAYS EuroCup Media Manager Andrea Bassani. Emmanuel Omogbo added 19 points in Pesaro victory, while Riccardo Cervi and Garrett Nevels scored 13 apiece in defeat.
