Buducnost managed to get away with the road win on Tuesday evening in Jerusalem.

Group B action of Week 2 in Eurocup tipped off with an 86-81 Buducnost win over Hapoel Jerusalem.

Nikola Ivanovic, who was crucial for the winning side towards the end, finished the game with 19 points.

For Hapoel, Jerome Dyson scored 21 points along with 7 assists.

The hosts, who had the upper hand of the game after 10′ (18-16) weren’t able to stop the visitors from imposing their pace. Still, it was during the third period when the visitors established a double digit lead (55-67 at 30′).

Katsikaris’ squad attempted a comeback in the final period and stormed the final quarter, trimming the deficit to 74-71 at 36′. The visitors outstood the pressure and in the end escaped with the win.

Group B action continues tomorrow as Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia faces Galatasaray and Bayern takes over Lietkabelis.
