In Day 5 of the 7Days Eurocup competition, Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius got its second win of the season as they defeated 92-76 at home Limoges CSP.
In the first minutes of the game, the visitors had the upper hand with a 2-7 start, but from the final minutes of the first quarter and on, the home side stepped up their level of play and went up ahead by nine-points (28-19). Limoges in the second quarter challenged and so the first half ended 45-39.
In the second half, Lietuvos increased its lead to double digits (65-52) (28:00) and kept its lead throughout the final twelve minutes. Finally, the Lithuanian team, with team play basketball (five players with double-digit points) finished the game off strong, improving their record to 2-3 while Limoges slipped to 2-3.
Rokas Giedraitis finished with 19 points, while Travis Petterson also added 19.
