Tony Parker’s ASVEL defeated Ulm in South Germany, with a great fourth quarter run.

On Day 7 of the 7Days Eurocup and Group D, Dolomiti Energia Trento, Gran Canaria, and ASVEL Villeurbanne managed to get wins but no team advanced to the second round.

In the final game of the day, ASVEL Villeurbanne defeated 84-94 Ratiopharm Ulm on the road in Germany to improve its record to 4-3. In another close game, ASVEL prevailed. Even though the French side had a double-digit lead in the second quarter 26-36 and 29-39, Ulm remained in the game with small scoring runs. To start the final quarter Ulm was up by four points (68-64) but Lyon with Roberson (25 points) and Slaughter (22 points) leading the way went up ahead by six points in the final minute to seal the deal and finish off a great fourth quarter (18-30).

Earlier today, Gran Canaria got the easy 92-71 win at home against Tofas Bursa. Since the first half, the Spanish side increased its lead to nine points (47-38) and had the upper hand in the game. In the second half, the home team controlled the tempo and kept on building this double-digit lead, which eventually reached up to 19 points (69-50) (29:00). The game was eventually over. Gran Canaria has five players in double-digits as well as 26 total assists. Marcus Eriksson led the way with 22 points.

Finally, yesterday night, Trento got an important and easy win over Zenit St Petersburg to improve its record to 3-4 while the visitors slipped to 4-3. Shavon Shields led the winners with 23 points and 8 rebounds.
