Another derby in EuroCup, this time Limoges grabbed the road victory over Alba Berlin and can now hope to qualify for the next round.

Limoges grabbed a much-needed victory over Alba Berlin on the road with 84-78, in Day 8 of EuroCup. The German team now falls to a 5-3 record and it’s already qualified to the next round, while Limoges improves to 3-5 with hopes to advance.

The key: After 30 minutes, the French side led by 65-57, with a partial 23-10 run in the third period which stunned the hosts. With two minutes remaining, Limoges grabbed a double-digit lead (84-74) and sealed off the victory.

The star: Danny Gibson scored 16 points and handed out six assists for the winners.

Not enough: Stefan Peno tapped 13 points, Luke Sikma followed with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts.
