Unics Kazan got the easy 78-61 win over Cedevita behind an amazing effort by Stephan Lasme who had 18 points,9 rebounds and 4 blocks. The hosts had the lead for most of the game, but the result was decided in the last period which had a partial score of 21-9 in their favor.
However, with FIAT Turin getting the close 77-75 road win over Darussafaka, Unics couldn’t secure the second spot in the group standings. Diante Garret who had 21 points made the most important shot of the game and gave a crucial 76-74 lead to the Italians with 18 seconds left.
Still, the result of the night proved to be the win of Levallois Metropolitans over Morabanc Andorra with 99-92. Boris Diaw had 15 points and 10 assists, Roderick Odom scored 18 points and the French which had no chance of advancing to Top16 made a favor both Cedevita and Turin which after this results qualified. On the contrary, Morabanc Andorra is also eliminated.
