For Group H, Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia got the easy thirty-three point (87-54) win at home against Limoges CSP in the Top-16, thanks to its tough defense allowing just 54 points.

The key: Reggiana’s defense. Limoges shot a very low 33.3% from the field.

The star: Amedeo Della Valle was the man of the match. He finished with 22 points and nine rebounds. Landing Sane and Julian Wright added 13 points.

The game: It was a physical (8 fouls in Q1), in the first period, with both teams playing good defense and not allowing easy points. Limoges managed to have a two-point lead (16-18). With a 24-13 quarter, however, and tough defense, the home side went up ahead by nine points at the half (40-31).

In the second half, the home team, increased its lead to double-digits (51-38), with White and Della Vella scoring and rebounding. With an 18-12 quarter, Reggiana had a 15-point lead to start the final period. In the final ten minutes of the contest, Menetti’s team went up ahead by 20+ points (69-49). The game was eventually over.

Not enough: Brian Conklin for the losing side, finished with seven points and six rebounds.
