Bayern prevailed over Zenit St. Petersburg at home with 95-78 and improved to a 2-1 record in the Top 16 round.

The Russian team falls to 2-1 and there’s a three-way tie on the top which also includes FIAT Turin.

After a scoring fest in the first half (with Bayern leading 52-47 at halftime), the hosts took charge in the third period and pulled off with double-digit leads. After 30′, the German side stayed up 80-67. Devin Booker led the winning side with 27 points, while for Zenit Kyle Kuric finished with 31 points.

In Italy, FIAT Turin beat Lietuvos Rytas 83-77 behind 21 points of former NBA champ Sasha Vujacic and 20 by Lamar Patterson. The hosts had the lead from the get-go, an 18-point advantage by halftime (48-30) and even if the guests did come back in the game, they couldn’t steal it. Rokas Giedraitis scored 20 points for them, but the key number here is their 0-3 record.
