Darussafaka Istanbul prevailed on the road over Buducnost VOLI Podgorica 78-71 in the second game of the quarterfinals series.

The best player in this game was no doubt Wilbekin who scored some amazing shots finishing with 22 points. He got some help from JaJuan Johnson with 12 points. The first half belonged to the guests. After Scottie Wilbekin’s three-pointer at the five-minute mark, they took the lead and didn’t look back.

They gradually increased their lead and with a three-point buzzer from Kartal Ozmizrak went to the locker rooms with a 13 points lead (39-26). Wilbekin played great from the start scoring 15 points in 20 minutes including a few very hard shots when there was no other choice. Darussafaka got eight offensive rebounds and while Kyle Gibson tried to keep Buducnost by scoring 10 points in the first half it was not enough.

The home team didn’t give up and tried to get back into the game after the break, but whenever they would get a momentum, Wilbekin would hit a big shot to set them back. Gibson gave his all scoring 19 points for the hosts, while Nikola Ivanovic added 16.
