Luis Casimiro is Unicaja’s new coach

Luis Casimiro has reached an agreement with the Spanish team for the next two years.

After the brief experience he had at the end of the 2011/2012 season, Luis Casimiro is back for Unicaja Malaga.

The 51-year old coach has coached ten different teams in the Spanish League competition, and his experience is needed for Malaga’s team and players. In 1997-1998 ACB season, he won the title with Manresa.

This past season, Casimiro had a great year with Herbalife Gran Canaria, finishing fourth and thus qualifying for next season’s Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

Unicaja Malaga will play in the 7DAYSEuroCup competition in 2018/2019 and the team has already set goals. Casimiro, will try to accomplish great things in Europe’s competition but also in Spain.
