Dolomiti Energia Trento found a new small forward in Fabio Mian, who penned a two-year deal with the Italian powerhouse on Thursday. Mian (1.96 meters, 26 years old) arrives from The Flexx Pistoia, where he averaged 9.0 points and 2.7 rebounds in 30 Italian League games last season. He started his career with CBU Udine and played for several other Italian teams, such as Pallacanestro Varese, Basket Napoli, Moncada Solar Agrigento and Vanoli Cremona before joining Pistoia last season. Mian has also been a member of the Italian U16, U18, and U20 national teams. “It is very nice to have Fabio on our team: I felt that he was very motivated and with a great desire to continue growing with us,” Trento head coach Maurizio Buscaglia said. “This is a player who can give us a lot on the perimeter, thanks to his perimeter decisions and his defensive consistency. His ability to cover more roles on defense coming off the bench will also add more versatility to our roster.”
