Demonte Harper moves to the Turkish League finalists.

Tofas Bursa announced the addition of American guard Demonte Harper with a contract for 2018-2019.

Harper, who last played for Zenit St. Petersburg in Russia, will bolster the backcourt of the Turkish team that features guards like Baris Ermis, Ivan Paunic, and Pierria Henry. The latter is on the agenda of some EuroLeague clubs such as Olympiacos Piraeus, Zalgiris Kaunas, Gran Canaria.

Tofas Bursa’s first new addition for the 2018-19 season is guard Demonte Harper, who spent the past season and a half with Zenit St. Petersburg. Harper (1.93 meters, 29 years old) averaged 9.4 points and 3.2 rebounds in 19 7DAYS EuroCup games for Zenit, which he helped to reach the quarterfinals. He also posted 10.6 points, 3.2 boards and 2.5 assists per game in the VTB United League as Zenit placed third. Harper had previously played for Cibona Zagreb in Croatia, Erie in the D-League, Tsmoki Minsk in Belarus, Brindisi in Italy, Energa Czarni Slupsk in Poland and BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinn in Estonia. He won the league championship in Belarus in 2014 and cups in both Belarus and Estonia.
